As you can see from this graph, the weather in Orlando can get pretty hot during the summer.

You will also notice that it doesn't seem to get very cold either - in fact sometimes it does get very chilly at night - particularly around February time, can you believe that we actually had a frost in Florida this year (although a few days later it was warm again) - WOW!

One of the reasons that it gets so humid in Orlando is that from June to September we get a lot of rain, that said we also get a lot of sun.

So what does all this mean? Well basically Orlando weather in the main is predictable with lots of sunshine all year round but you see sharp showers in those summer months. So don't be afraid to take that poncho out with you - it's very light but boy will you be glad of it if the heavens open.

Now if you are asking the question - what about hurricanes? it has to be said that a lot of the time people outside of America are given a false idea that all of Florida is always suffering.
In fact nothing could be further from the truth - to get it into perspective, out of all the hurricanes and tropical storms seen in 2005, only one really touched Orlando, it passed over in a few hours and was no worse than a windy night in the Staffordshire Moorlands (they're in England).
